It’s Fall, y’all!! Well, it’s not officially Fall until Friday, but we’ve reached the point in the year where there are pumpkin-related items everywhere we go. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin cereal, pumpkin spiced lattes. PSL’s aren’t really my thing, but the world never stops talking about them so I guess they are kind of a big deal. In my mind, Fall = pumpkins. Pumpkins and jackets. The only problem is it can be tough to find a good jacket. It sure isn’t hard to find a pumpkin.

This year, I’m seeing a bunch of different types of fall jackets. Everything from suede to leather, denim and cotton. Styles vary as much as the material. The only consistent theme is jackets are really big this year. Yes, they are functional, but they also look super cute when layered with different prints and colors.
I love how my distressed denim jacket (C/O Romwe) looks with this printed floral dress. The distressing on it was just the right amount for me. It looks updated, but I don’t look like I got in a fight with a cat. The darker color is neutral enough to match with everything and is the perfect blue shade for fall. I have a lighter colored denim jacket I wear a lot in the summer, but it never looks right to me in the fall. I’ll be wearing this beauty over and over.
As far as the rest of my outfit details, I found my sleeveless floral dress on the clearance rack at Old Navy for a whopping $4. Clearly, that purchase was a no-brainer. It is still available online, but is around $14, which is really still a steal. This one is also similar and super cute. My red Tory Burch tote is going to be my go-to bag around the holidays, and here are this year’s version of my Vince Camuto booties.
I’ve also gathered a few of my favorite jackets for fall below:
