Men. We all know they are tough to shop for. They don’t appreciate stuff like we do, they don’t like jewelry and makeup and they rarely tell us what they want. By far, this was the toughest of my gift guides to write. However, after a lot of online shopping and picking my husband’s brain, I think I came up with a pretty good list. Here is my 2017 men’s gift guide.

I love buying my guys useful and practical gifts. I especially like practical gifts with a sense of humor. That’s exactly what Duke Cannon Supply Co. (C/O) had in mind when they created their line of men’s toiletries. They are useful and flat out funny. My personal favorite is the Shower Beer Gift Set, which includes an insulated Stanley Tumbler and a Big Ass Beer Soap. Yes, the soap actually contains beer. And no, it doesn’t smell like beer – it has a woodsy sandalwood scent instead, just like a man should smell like. I also really like their bourbon soap, bloody knuckles hand repair and air scented solid cologne. The best part is all these gifts are under $25 and guaranteed to get a laugh.
Every man out there needs to have a nice, classic watch. One that he can pull out 20 years from now and it won’t look dated. For me, Daniel Wellington watches are just that. This year, two men in my life (I’m not telling which ones) are receiving DW watches (C/O DW). I love the classic black style, which looks so good with a vintage looking brown band. I also think the dapper style is a tad trendier looking with blue watch hands. Both are available with changeable watch bands and will last the test of time (get it?!). If you live in a cold weather state, you know how tough it can be to find a practical pair of winter shoes. My dad literally bought this same pair of waterproof shoes (C/O Lands’ End) 20 years ago and wore them to death. The good news is this same amazing pair of shoes still exists today. I’m excited to let my dad know he can replace his tried and true favorites with a brand new pair this year.
I already talked about Quip in my beauty gift guide, but I can’t resist including this one again for the men. I’ve had a gold Quip toothbrush for a few months and my hubby has been begging me for one of his own. If he stays off the naughty list, that just might happen this year. Quip offers sleek and trendy toothbrushes and ships teeth brushing essentials on a pre-set frequency. Gotta love a practical gift!
